Privacy

Eiji Arturo De Paz Pérez is responsible for your personal data in Play Your Part. Contact: depazeiji@gmail.com.

We store your email address to run your account; the file name, length and chosen instrument of each upload; your monthly usage; and, if you subscribe, your Paddle customer and subscription identifiers. Your password is handled by Amazon Cognito and we never see it. If you arrive through one of our links or ads, we record which one when you sign up, to learn which channels work. We don't share it with anyone.

We only send account and service emails, such as verification codes and notices about your plan or these policies, never marketing.

Uploaded audio is deleted after processing, or within 2 days if it was not processed. Separated tracks and their job records are deleted after the retention period shown in the studio, or earlier when you delete them. Server logs, which may include your IP address, are kept for 30 days, and database backups for up to 35 days. The rest is kept until you close your account.

Your data is stored and processed on Amazon Web Services in the United States, encrypted in transit and at rest, under AWS's data processing terms, which include the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. Payments are processed by Paddle as an independent controller under its own privacy notice; we never see your card details.

We use your data to provide the service you signed up for (our contract with you), and to prevent abuse and keep it secure (our legitimate interest). We do not sell your data, share it for advertising, or use your audio to train models.

The site stores only your session and language preference in your browser, with no analytics or advertising cookies. When you open checkout, Paddle's script runs under Paddle's privacy notice.

You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your data, or object to its use, by writing to depazeiji@gmail.com. We delete an account and its data within 30 days of the request, except what the law requires us to keep. You can also complain to the data protection authority where you live.

Play Your Part is not meant for children under 13; if we learn that we hold data of a child under 13, we delete it. We will tell you about important changes to this policy before they take effect.
