Terms of service
Play Your Part is operated by Eiji Arturo De Paz Pérez, a sole proprietor based in Guatemala. By creating an account you accept these terms. Contact: depazeiji@gmail.com.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Play Your Part. If you are under 18, or under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must accept these terms for you.
Keep your password safe: you are responsible for what is done with your account. You can close it at any time by writing to us; if you have Pro, cancel it first so it does not renew.
Play Your Part separates an instrument from audio you upload, using machine learning. Results vary with the recording and are provided as is; the free plan lets you check them before you pay. The service may be unavailable at times, and the first track after a quiet period takes a few minutes to start.
Only upload audio you have the right to use. Results are for your personal practice, study or performance preparation; you remain responsible for any other use.
You keep any rights you have over the audio you upload and over the results. You allow us to store and process them only to provide the service to you. Download your results before they are deleted: we keep no copies.
Play Your Part only processes files you upload. It does not download audio from streaming services or links, and it never publishes or shares your files or results.
Copyright complaints: if you believe audio processed with Play Your Part infringes your rights, write to depazeiji@gmail.com with the details. We remove the content concerned and close the accounts of repeat infringers.
Free and Pro plans include the minutes per calendar month shown on the pricing page. Minutes are counted from the length of each upload, returned when processing fails, and do not carry over to the next month. Free processing also has a daily limit shared by all users; when it runs out, you can try again the next day. We may change the free plan at any time; changes to Pro are announced like price changes.
Pro is a monthly or yearly subscription sold by Paddle.com, our merchant of record, which handles payment, taxes and invoices. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period. If the price changes, we will tell you by email at least 30 days before it applies to you, so you can cancel first.
We may suspend accounts that abuse the service, for example by automating uploads or creating multiple accounts to avoid limits. Play Your Part may not be used for military or weapons purposes, or in breach of export control or sanctions laws.
We may update these terms; we will tell you by email or in the studio before important changes take effect. If we close Play Your Part, we will give at least 30 days of notice and refund the unused part of any paid period.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the previous three months.
These terms are governed by the laws of Guatemala, and disputes go to its courts unless the consumer law of your country lets you bring them where you live. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer law in your country gives you and that cannot be waived.
